Uploading Mobile Phone images onto your easisite

As many people now have mobile phones that take photos (I don't personally), we have worked out four different ways to get that phone photo onto your easisites website:

  1. Buy (if you haven't aleady got it) a PC connector cable for your model of phone and use the software that comes with it to extract the photo onto your hard drive. You can then upload it like any other picture when you update your site.
  2. No cable? On your phone create a picture message and send it to your own email address. Check your email and save the picture. You can then upload it like any other picture when you update your site.
  3. No cable, can't send message as an email? Send the picture message to a friend who doesn't have a picture phone. They'll (with most phone companies) receive a message with a web address for looking at the picture. View that address on Internet and save the picture. You can then upload it like any other picture when you update your site.
  4. No cable, can't send as email, no friend with suitable phone? Ask us at admin@easisites.co.uk for a phone number to send to. Then send the picture message to us and we'll email back the picture for you. We need you to ask first or we won't know who the picture(s) are for. At this time (experimental service) there is no charge from easisites for returning the pictures, but your phone company will apply their standard fee when you send a picture message (about 30 pence usually).

Note - people sometimes find their phone can't send pictures when it should be possible. It's easy to upset your phone's settings by mistake. Call your phone company or visit their website - they can reset your phone's settings by sending a coded text message to it.
