Tables
and Spreadsheets
We think this
is quite smart.

It's an online
spreadsheet, which saves the hassle of deleting and uploading
excel files in Extras after every update.
And you don't
have to start from square one. You can simply import your excel
file and take it from there.
You can see
it in action on
this demo site - where you'll see a link to an 'Extra' excel
file, a link to a spreadsheet at zohosheet
and the embedded spreadsheet, courtesy of zohosheet, like this.
And then there's
this,
which is also quite smart - and which you'll find on the next
page of the same demo site as above - achieved by copy and pasting
excel spreadsheet cells into Tabelizer!
hitting the Tabilize It! button and then copy and pasting the
HTML code into your webpage. Et voila!

NB:
If you choose to copy and paste the Embed code, you will need
to add <nomodify> before and </nomodify> after the
line of code (this only applies to easisites websites).

You can use
4shared to embed
audio files. Take a look at the all-singing, all-dancing Ry
Cooder Stuff website to see what can be done. See the previous

Then there's
stuff like Scribd for MS Word documents and such like,
Slideshare and Issuu for Powerpoint presentations
and Google Maps for, you guessed it, maps.

only snag I can see (and it is a minor one) is that your forum
page carries adverts for something or other.
When I last
looked at the one
I made earlier, the ad read:

What's an
EOL? Come to that, what's a PCN? BOM anyone?
