Sent: Fri, 25 Jul 2008 18:57:26 Subject: easisites newsletter#14 July 2008 Hello all, A couple of new additions to easisites to tell you about (if you haven't noticed already). Online Shop Password Protected pages == Online Shop The online shop facility we promised well over a year ago. It's actually been up and running for about a year, but we haven't told you before because we wanted to iron out a few bugs and make sure it was all working properly - which we are now confident it is. To see it in action, visit www.rodbox.com If you wish to make use of this facility yourself, take a look at the Selling online page on the new look www.easisites.co.uk If you wish to make use of this facility and have looked at the Selling online page, but can make neither head nor tail of it, then please contact me. NB If you are wanting to sell more than two items (or two options of the same item), there will be an additional cost attached to this. However, if you are wanting to sell, say, 300 or 3000 items online, the easisites' cost is £200, compared to the £2000 or £3000 you are likely to be quoted elsewhere. Plus, as with all easisites pages, you can edit or update or add new products as often as you like for no extra cost. === Password Protected pages This hasn't been up and running a year or anything like. We've actually made this live today. If there are pages which you want only a select band of people to see, you can now make those pages password protected. To see this in action, go to www.easisites.co.uk/elninos and visit my Secret Recipes page (where else?) You can allocate any number of pages to be password protected. (You'll see there's also a More Secret Recipes page.) You can also allocate any number of user names and passwords. I have allocated 3 User name: glynekos Password: glynekos User name: glynekos2 Password: glynekos2 User name: glynekos3 Password: glynekos3 Take a look (but don't expect to find any secret recipes!) It's very simple and takes no time at all to set up. Click on Extras (on the gold bar at the top of the page when you are editing your website) and choose Password Protection. Hopefully the rest will be self explanatory. NB: There is no additional cost for this facility. ==== Your feedback, as always, would be welcome. Any comments or questions, please get back to me. Best Wishes.
